Can bean bags cause back pain?

While we can’t categorically say, ‘no’, because everything carries the potential to cause back pain if used inappropriately, the reverse is usually true. Are there bean bags you can sleep on?

No. Although we offer a whole range of children’s bean bags, we do not recommend any of them for use by children of less than 12 months of age. And many of our large bean bags are unsuitable for children younger than three years old. This is because the malleability of the beans can pose a hazard for babies and very young children.

Why are bean bags expensive?

The price of bean bags varies according to the materials used to construct them, and the quality of the craftsmanship. While it is possible to find low-cost bean bags, or to bag a bargain in the sale section, with bean bags – as with anything else – the more you spend, the better quality the product. If you want a comfortable bean bag chair that will last, it will cost you more than an item intended to be near-disposable. While luxe materials – leather, faux fur, silk – will always be more costly than comfy old chord. In short, you get what you pay for.
